maybe anet just wants to have fun with the mm's. you know some of those guys are just getting so good. personally i find humor in it(only because it hasn't happened to me yet.)

Nope...VA applies to all minions you control. Not just those you had when you cast it.

As for enchant stripping, there is a lot of it going on but they don't always target the MM so enchants may have been stripped from other members instead.

Well i really don't know how aura actually functions once it ends (duration and which minnions it affects) but i can say this, there seems to be either a bug or a bunch of a-net folks having a good laugh.

I know this happens in AB sometimes since some people bring Verata's Gaze to counter MMs, but this sounds strange that you should encounter this when your MM doesn't die.

Hee, hee....it happens a lot in AB because many people bring Verata's Aura. Verata's Gaze doesn''t have the same side affects. On that note, for AB, it is often random classes many people wouldn't expect that surprise you. Not long ago I saw a war cast VA to rob a MM of his minions. They aren't meant ot keep them up...just reduce the opposing force.

I don't blame the minions for striking either...one of the most overworked and underpaid 'classes'

OK I am going to try and put this into at least mostly logical perspective.

Why would you be running verata's sacrifice? The typical MM build runs Blood of the Master and Heal Area..... Especially now that MMs are limited there is no point to Verata's Sacrifice, the recharge and lasting time just doesn't make it worth it one bit! Also in SF you should be getting enough corpses that you really are just cycling in the aging for the newer ones, right?

So the idea that he got VS and VA confused just seems a bit far fetched.

Ok so say for example that he DOES accidently take VA, his death magic at 16 = 312secs or 5mins... Why would you need to keep aging minions up that long? If you do NOT have VS AND BotM then how the heck are you keeping them alive long enough for the enchantment to wear off and them to get stolen or turn on you?
The fact that a "mistake" like this could happen may very well be possible, but how likely is it to happen? I think if my minions started attacking me for no darned good reason I would be checking my skill bar 5 times over and I am sure that is what this MM did.

As far as what goes on in AB, well there is so much minion stealing that it's near impossible to know what happened, but as for SF, I say its likely a bug but screenshots are the only real proof for this.

I believe VA applies to all minions (someone please verify that...can't at work

) so no matter whether you recycle your minions, when it ends all 10 that are in your control (whether old or new) turn

I think you are likely right (sorry getting tired and didn't think that through) but still why would you mix the two up when you really shouldn't be bringing anything but BotM and Heal Area? No V skills involved -_-

It has happened to me a couple times while I was MMing. I dont run a typical settup and have my skill bar set for healing of e minions I also run retribution and mending. My other skills are flesh golem and bone minions. I do know that when the minion master dies the minions go after watever is in the area regardless if it is friendly or not. But when they turned on me I was quite surprised and couldnt run fast enough. I think this is a bug and needs fixed as it seems that now I know I am not alone.

Hmm I tried VA once in AB... hated it from the bottom of my heart ^^. When Aura ends or gets stripped away (= ends), all minions you control turn evil (neutral to be exact). And recasting aura when your minions are out of bubble makes them beserk as well i think.

Anyway... it was still fuzzy wether the team's necro used VA or not. But if he did, he might have well stepped into a Well of the Profane and the aura ended, thus making the minions mad.

To my opinion VA is the most useless skill for a MM at least, maybe in the whole game. Maybe it should be updated to a skill or something.

And my MM takes BotM, VS and Heal Area, just in case of bad degen places.
